SANSAC DE TOUCHIMBERT FAMILY. Baluster-shaped silver teapot, resting on four leafy feet with the initials S.T. (Sansac de Touchimbert) engraved on each side in a cartouche, preserved with its inner tea strainer. The fretel of the lid is adorned with a pinecone and the grip with a branch decoration. Wear from use, but overall good condition. H.: 22 cm - Diam.: 14 cm. Weight: 995 g. Provenance: once owned by Marguerite Prévost de Sansac de Touchimbert (1853-1903), wife of brigadier-general Jean de Sesmaisons (1846-1913).
