ISABELLE, infante d'Espagne, comtesse de Paris (1848-1919)
L.A.S.: "Isabelle, Ctesse de Paris", dated June 19, 1885, headed for the Château d'Eu, addressed to her aunt Princess Clementine of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (1817-1907), 2 pages, text in French, folds, curls, but overall good condition. "My dear aunt, I would like to thank you immediately for your so kind letter of the 14th and for everything you always tell me so affectionately we will comply with any advice you wish to give and say nothing until we have an opinion from you. As for Isabelle Girgenti, she also wrote me what she told you and I am waiting for a telegram from her to go and see her when she comes to Paris, it will always be nice to hear from you. I'm definitely leaving with Amélie on the 26th from here and on the 28th from Paris for Marienbad, where Mussy wants me to take a 21-day cure. I'd be very happy if on my way back I could pass through Munich to see Amélie - it's been so long since I've had the pleasure! Everyone here sends you respect and memories, and Papa, in a greater hurry than ever, has just left for Paris, from where he will be able to return on Tuesday. I enclose a photograph of little Ferdinand for your collection. Farewell my dear aunt, I hope we will have the pleasure of seeing you here this summer, and in the meantime please believe me always your most respectful and devoted niece".
