Two embroidered handkerchiefs, comtale crown, 19th century. Both hemmed with a Valenciennes bobbin flounce, a large handkerchief dating from the 1st half of the 19th century, finely embroidered with a delicate floral garland around the edge, bouquets on the spandrels, one with the monogram CS for de CHOLET de SADE, a family descended from the Marquis de Sade, (good condition, a few small stains) and a handkerchief circa 1850-70 with a large garland embroidered with tulips and daisies around the edge, large monogram LW for L WALL wearing a comtale crown (a tear and two very small holes in the linen, small stains scattered around).
