Bouquets, France, circa 1880 Folded fan with beige bobbin lace leaf applied to tulle. Mounted in finely cut, engraved and burgundy white mother-of-pearl. Two side panels hold a trophy composed of a quiver and two doves, symbols of love. In the center, a couple, including a man reading. Nickel-plated metal hanger. H.t. 29 cm-H.f.13.5 cm (restorations, missing parts)
