The Tyrolean Salon, Germany, circa 1890 Folded fan, the satin sheet painted with a gathering of happy Tyroleans enjoying themselves and smoking around the reliefs of a table after the 1880 work by Franz Von Defregger (1835-1921). Monogrammed "CL" at right. Dull reverse. Ivory mounting. Rich plume carved and engraved with flowers including roses and sprigs of lily of the valley. Bracket and tassel. H.t. 35.5 cm-H.f. 21.3 cm (wear)
