Spes, La partie de pêche, France, circa 1890 Folded fan, the double sheet in painted skin of two young fisherwomen trying their luck while a young boy joins them. Signed lower left "Spes" by the painter. Reverse decorated with flowering vines, grasses and birds. Signature of the Parisian fan maker Duvelleroy. Mounted in burgau mother-of-pearl, engraved and gilded with flowers in two registers. Metal hanger and passementerie tassel. H.t. 30 cm-H.f. 26.4 cm (good condition, slight wear)
