ÉCOLE RUSSE DE LA FIN DU XVIIIe SIÈCLE Portrait of Countess Catherine Skawronsky, Lady of the portraits of Empress Catherine II. Fine engraving by Guglielmo Morghen (1780-1825), dated 1791, after the famous portrait of her painted in 1790 by Élisabeth Vigée-Lebrun (1755-1842), a version of which is in the Musée Jacquemart-André in Paris. Good condition. H.: 43.5 cm - W.: 31 cm. This portrait is the counterpart to the previous lot representing her husband.
