CHINE, Dynastie Ming, XVIe siècle Rare gilt-lacquered bronze subject representing a Guanyin seated in dyasana on a double lotus base. Hands in vitarka mudra, the left one holding an alms bowl. The divinity's face is serene, with almond-shaped, half-closed eyes, a straight nose and a thin mouth with a slight pout. She is adorned with numerous jewels, her head surmounted by an elaborate tiara. An inscription on the back of the base. (Misses) Height: 28.5 cm
