Rye New York.USA Literature: Harry Beran.1988 (page 43. n°55) Collected by Harry Beran and Anthony JP Meyer in 1990 in the village of Western Point on Southeast Island. This spatula was made by Gado (died 1972), born in the village of Sabahoi on Southeast Island. Its style is similar to that of Ghena (or Gabaela) spatulas, often made from tortoise shell and also used as currency.
