Two fans, France, circa 1840-1850 *The first, a gilded and embossed paper leaf decorated with floral scrolls and adorned with three lithographed cartels enhanced with gouache of scenes in the taste of the 18th century. The reverse is illustrated with flowers and entertainment scenes. Bone mount, engraved and silvered. H.t. 27 cm Bélière. *The second, a double sheet of paper engraved on both sides and painted in gouache with scenes in the troubadour style. Mounted in painted wood. H.t. 27 cm (wear)
