Couple in the fields, Europe, circa 1770 Folded fan, the skin sheet painted with gouache and mounted in the English style. In the center, in a cartel, a couple look at each other, among harvesters on the left and a shepherdess and her flock on the right. In the side catels, lovers symbolize the war subdued by love, and for the other, harmony. Engraved and silvered bone mount decorated with flowers and baskets in medallions.
