Second daughter of Léon, Marquis de Laborde (1807-1869), director of the Empire archives and an avid traveler, in 1865 Nathalie married Frédéric Seillière (1839-1899), heir to a family of industrialists, who was later named "Baron Seillière" by His Holiness
Leo XIII in 1885
A peculiar anecdote: in 1865, Frédéric's elder brother Aimé (1835-1870) married Marie (1844-1867), Nathalie's elder sister, who was to live only two more years. Aimé then married, in 1869,
Marguerite (1849-1922), Nathalie's third sister.
