Pair of portraits of Count Jean-Baptiste Legendre de Luçay (1754-1836), Consul of the First Empire, and his wife Jeanne Papillon d'Autreroche (1769-1845), lady-in-waiting to Empress Marie-Louise from 1810 to 1814. Oils on canvas, preserved in their original carved and gilded wood frames decorated with an acanthus leaf frieze. Age wear, minor accidents, restorations. Sight: H.: 21 cm - W.: 15.5 cm.
