MAURICE CHEVALIER: A pair of Art Deco sconces (1926) from the Jean Perzel workshops. With ovoid plaster half-shell. Based on the identical model for the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, Maurice Chevalier asked for the same model to light the stairs of his villa in the hills above Cannes La Bocca. Traces of paint on the four grooves of the plaster base of the bowl. Height: 31 cm. Diameter of bowl: 33 cm. Width of base: 14.5 cm. As is.
