Two silver tea caddies on rectangular gadrooned bases. The baluster-shaped bodies are chased with scrolls, foliage, birds, a couple and children. One side is engraved with a coat of arms under a marquis crown (different shields on each box, one supported by griffins, the other by lions). The partially gadrooned stoppers are attached to the body by chains ending in masks applied to the body. Probably 19th century German work. Height : 18,2 cm Weight: 641.3 g.
