Rare set of mother-of-pearl buttons, second half of the 18th century, plate of about twenty large buttons and seven smaller ones in openwork, carved and engraved mother-of-pearl, most of them with a faceted glass cabochon in the center; the most remarkable with a metal base decorated with a paillon under a faceted glass held by a nail and a polished steel corolla, (some wear). Most average 3.5 cm in diameter
