38. MERWAN (Merwan Chabane, 1978) Celestial Mechanics Original illustration reproduced on page 166 of Mécanique Céleste, tome 2 - La Source India ink and watercolor on paper 50 x 65 cm Signed Merwan Chabane, who also signs "Merwan", is a graduate of the École nationale des arts décoratifs. After passing through the Gobelins school, he began his career in video games and animation, for which he produced storyboards. He then began creating albums, releasing "Mécanique Céleste" in 2019, nominated for the Sélection Jeunes Adultes selection at Angoulême 2020, as well as for the Prix Fnac - France Inter 201911 and the Prix de la meilleure bande dessinée de science-fiction at Utopiales de Nantes 2020.
