EASLEY, Joe (1884-1971) "Locomotive E5 Delinger" China ink, white gouache and wash on paper. India ink, white gouache and wash on paper. Signed. Sight size : 36x48cm. Joe Easley was an American cartoonist, known for his work illustrating the world of railways and trains. An avid traveler, he saw the Alaskan gold rush and was present during the San Francisco earthquake in 1906, before settling in New York and working for the specialized periodical "Railroad magazine".
