The altar of love, Europe, circa 1789 Large folded fan, from the revolutionary period, the double sheet of paper engraved with a man kneeling before the altar of love, facing two women, one of whom is testing the tip of an arrow. On both sides, gouache cartels of love symbols. Dumb reverse, green leaf. Natural wood frame. H.t. 32,5 cm/ H.f. 16,2 cm (wear, cuts to the folds, two damaged strands)
