Set of 10 small plates, 1- beige earthenware with no decoration other than a central blue numeral R sur R surmounted by a baron's tortil (ca. 1900). Fels (diam.: 22 cm). 2- in English white earthenware (Cauldon), with no decoration other than a central coat of arms in blue with supports (ca 1880). Chips along the edge (diam.: 23 cm). 3- in beige English earthenware, a motto ("ce que veult peult") surmounted by a lion in the center (late 19th c.). Chips along the edge (diam. 23 cm). 4- in Gien earthenware in blue monochrome on white ground, Rouen décor, central coat of arms with count's crown of Adelphe de Drouin de Bouville married in 1870 to Claire de Terras. Good condition (diam.: 22 cm). 5- in Gien earthenware in blue monochrome on white ground, wavy border, Rouen décor, central coat of arms with count's crown. Madame is in the des Prez de La Morlais / des Prez de La Ville family. Good condition (diam.: 22 cm). 6- Gien earthenware in blue monochrome on white ground, oriental decoration, central coat of arms with helmet of Sosthène Le Gentil married in 1867 to Marie Holker. Large chip at edge (diam.: 22 cm). 7- Longchamp earthenware (terre de Fer), central polychrome coat of arms with motto. A small chip at the back of the border (diam.: 21 cm). 8- Bordeaux earthenware (with the old mark of J. Viellard), marli with blue Rouen decoration, central coat of arms with crowned helmet and crest possibly from the Bahre family. Timeworn (diam.: 22.3 cm). 9 and 10- beige Sarreguemines earthenware, canted rim, central coat of arms with motto and comtal crown of the Adhemar family (ca. 1900, Renaud & J. Clermont in Nice, who sign the composition under the motto. Time wear, diam.: 22.5 cm)
