O'KERRINS HYDE - de SAINT-AMAND. Sur : Livre de mariage, Tours, Mame, 1862, in-12, 8f-354pp, full calf, rich cold decoration with fleurs-de-lis in relief at the corners and double central medallions containing coats of arms engraved in gilt silver on the first plate and gilt initials on the second, double gilt fillets on the edges, gilt roulettes inside the plates with green silk endpapers, gilt edges with semi of red fleurs-de-lis, headband [binding signed: Petit, rue Larrey à Paris]. Coat of arms of William O'KERRY Hyde, married on July 1, 1863 in Paris (St-Thomas d'Aquin) to Mathilde de Saint-Amand. Handwritten records of marriage and birth, communion and death of children. Posterity in the de Coudenhove family. The medallions are partly dedoried, but the engraving of the coat of arms is intact; the 2 clasps are missing and only one of the two vermeil attachments (hallmark) remains. Beautifully presented.
