Wool redingote with black velvet facings and silver thread braid, fitted with 14 large mute silver buttons (small buttons missing from bottom of sleeves) made by Debacker around 1905 (Debacker stopped in 1907) for Prince Jacques de Broglie (inner label refers to Prince Jacques de Broglie (1878-1974), a man of letters married in 1905 to Melle Berthier de Wagram) and resident in Paris and at the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire. Fine condition
