Young Foundation from the Estate of Anita O'Keeffe Young; October 10, 11 and 12, 1985, lot 707. Our console takes up the characteristic base of Adam Weisweiler's work; we know, for example, of a set of six consoles that arrived in the national collections by revolutionary seizure, then sent to the Hôtel de l'Infantado at the Ministry of Foreign Relations, rue de Bac (formerly Hôtel de Gallifet) in February 1796. Then to the Elysée Palace until 2018.
