HISTORICAL SOUVENIRS BELONGING TO QUEEN HORTENSE (1783-1837) AND PRINCE JÈRÔME NAPOLÉON KING OF WESTPHALIA (1784- 1860). Large antique giltwood frame, containing : An ivory-colored linen batiste handkerchief embroidered in one corner with the monogram H (Hortense) under a crown framed by two olive branches. A two-tone, brown and blue printed silk scarf decorated with a floral and foliage motif interlaced with ears of wheat and embroidered in one corner in red thread with the monogram J. N. (Jérôme Napoléon) under a crown. A white linen handkerchief embroidered at one corner with the interlaced monogram J.N. (Jérôme Napoléon) under a crown. Freckles and stains, but overall good condition. Frame: H.: 56 cm - W.: 90 cm.
