NAPOLEON II, King of Rome (1811-1832). Etching, circa 1814, depicting the son of Emperor Napoleon I kneeling with hands joined in prayer, with the inscription "Je prie Dieu pour mon Père et pour la France" (I pray to God for my Father and for France) at the bottom of the document, preserved in a gilded wood frame. Bending, but good condition overall, wear and tear to frames. Sight: H.: 12 cm - W.: 10 cm. Frame: H.: 16 cm - W.: 14 cm.
