ENDER Johann Nepomuk (1793-1854) ATTRIBUÉ À. Portrait of the young Comte de Chambord (1820-1883), posing in front of an armchair bearing the coat of arms of France. Unsigned graphite drawing enhanced with watercolor, dated 1847. Preserved under glass in its travel case with integrated easel stand, entirely sheathed in green leather and stamped on the reverse with the coat of arms of the Comte de Chambord. Chambord, representing the three gold fleurs-de-lis surrounded by the collar of the Order of Saint-Michel and the collar of the Order of the Holy Spirit, surmounted by the royal crown of France. Made by Berthet et Peret in Paris. Time wear, but good overall condition. H. 28 cm - L. 21.5 cm. Reference: a print of the same portrait in Vienna, dated 1847, is in the collections of the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris.
