Michelham of Hellingly (1895-1919). A famous British socialite, she was also the sister of Boy Capel (1881-1919), the famous polo player who was Gabrielle Chanel's great love for 9 years and influenced her style. Berthe made headlines in the early 1920s with the trial that followed the death of her first husband, Herbert Stern, whose will was suspected to have been altered.
