Address printed at 55 rue de Varenne, i.e. Hôtel de Broglie-Haussonville. Henri Le Savoureux has informed him of Abbé Mugnier's death. He gathered the account of his last moments from Mme de Castries, his legatee, and put these precious details down on paper: "His end surprised everyone, for he was not at all unwell, and had dictated letters during the day. In the evening, he suffered a choking attack. It was pulmonary edema. We struggled all night, and towards morning his heart gave out. He didn't suffer much and the last moments were calm. His face was rested and rather rejuvenated [...]". Mme de Castries took care of Arthur Mugnier's library and papers (correspondence, manuscripts, etc.). Broglie then refers to the arrest of Robert-Jean de Vogüé, then "head of an important Champagne house", by Otto Klaebisch and adds "this is how the occupiers understand collaboration! -CHAUMEIX, André.
