COROT, Jean-Baptiste Camille (1796-1875). Set of 10 L.A.S. Coubron, Argenteuil, Paris, Ville d'Avray, Mantes and S.l., July 1867, August 1869, June 20 and 24, 1873 and s.d. 9 pp. in-8° and in-12. Effrangeures. Professional correspondence addressed to his friend, the art dealer Emmanuel Weyl. Corot invites Weyl to Coubron and makes numerous appointments with him, notably to "deliver the merchandise", honor payments expected by the artist, have lunch with Charles Emile Jacque, Daubigny, etc. The painter summons the dealer to his home on rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière, or to his studio, to settle accounts: "It's been a long time since you promised to give me money". One letter is not addressed directly to Mr. Weyl: "Would you please give the keys to the studio to Mr. Weyl, who is bringing a gentleman?
