PERIGON Alexis-Nicolas (1726-1782). View of the Three Columns of the Temple of Jupiter Stator in Rome. Watercolor signed lower right, dated 1779, preserved in a carved and gilded wood frame. On the back is a label with the handwritten words: "À Monsieur le Duc de Choiseul, Vue des trois colonnes du temple de Jupiter Stator and the bottom of the Temple of Peace, the remains of the Colosseum and part of the Compo Vaccino drawn on March 27, 1779".
