PATENT LETTERS FROM THE KING, Concerning the rights that the Master Goldsmiths will be required to pay in the future Goldsmiths, to be admitted in the Communities established in the cities where they will have been allowed to transfer their residence. Given in Versailles on 15 December 1783. Registered in the Court of the Mint on February 14, 1784. In Paris, M.DCCLXXXIV. in-4 of 2 pp. with simple title of departure, unbound. Letters patent indicating that silversmiths settling in a city that is not their city of reception will have to pay duties again. Traces of paper glued to last leaf with minor damage to text.
