Georg Friedrich A. Important works by Schöner can be found in the Gleimhaus in Halberstadt, the Focke Museum and the Bremen Art Gallery. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Marc Aurel zum Flammenden Stern in Marburg and is listed in their register as "Mahler (traveler)".
