GRANGE, JACQUES (1909-1996) POSTER FOR THE LAFAYETTE GALLERIES. Acrylic on paper. Framed, signed and dated lower right "JGL 29". Dimensions: 63 x 48 cm (at sight). (Some folds). Born in Paris, Jacques Grange started his career as a textile designer for the famous French fashion designer Paul Poiret. He then worked with Paul Colin and Charles Loupot as a designer of artistic posters and we find his illustrations in the newspapers Paris-Soir, Marianne, France-Soir and Jours de France
