VICAR (VICTOR CARLOS ARRIAGADA RIOS, 1934-2012) / DISNEY STUDIOS DONALD DUCK, THE AUTOR (D7300). India ink and white gouache on paper for the first plate of this story first published in 1984 in Denmark. 34,7 x 48 cm. Some small traces of glue. Vicar, born in Chile and having worked in Spain from the 1960s, was considered one of the best Donald Duck artists, praised by Carl Barks himself, whose style is very similar. He was commissioned by Disney to draw Donald from 1971 (for the Scandinavian license, from Spain and then in his own studio in Chile, the Vic Art Studio)
