VINK (VINH JHOA, NE EN 1950) He Pao's travels 3. When the lanterns go out, plate 36. India ink and watercolor on paper, signed. 42.5x33 cm. Born in Vietnam, Vink trained at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Liège, then began drawing comics linked to Vietnamese culture: "Contes et légendes du Vietnam" in 1979 for the newspaper Tintin, followed by the series "Le Moine fou" (The Mad Monk), which began in 1984 in Charlie Mensuel.
