Alençon lace keel and border, needlepoint, circa 1750-70. A long keel and a border with a close decoration finely realized with the needle, undulating garland loaded with flowers and foliage and punctuated with cartridges with various points of which variant of Argentella for the border. White-cream linen. Dim. keel : 2,95 m x 9,5 cm at the widest. (a few fine repeats in the network and pale freckles for the border, scattered holes in the network for the keel) We join a small collar in Alençon and another collar in Alençon lace from the first half of the 18th century with beautiful cartouches decorated with Argentella, the motifs in Alençon reapplied on a cotton tulle in the 19th century (good general condition) as well as a border in Alençon around 1780-1800 (holes, bleached)
