Fichus, Dresden embroidery, Germany, mid 18th century. Two very finely embroidered cotton muslin fichus, one with a wide border of a beautiful decoration with large exotic flowers decorated with numerous stitches in spread threads and thrown stitch, Dim. sides: 85 cm and 83 cm, (good condition, rare very ptts acc. or fine resumptions) the other dating from the end of the eighteenth century with stylized fruits, flowers and foliage embroidered in thrown stitch, chain stitch and spread threads, Dim. sides: 85 cm each. (ptts acc. qqes spots)
