Two borders, Buratto and grapes pulled thread, Italy, early 17th century. The border in Buratto has weft and warp in indigo linen embroidered with a cream linen thread, decorated with religious symbolism of bunches of grapes, vine shoots and vine leaves; frieze with small motifs on each border. Dim. 1 m x 10,5 cm (good condition, shaded blue tone) The other one in linen of a beautiful sharpness, in threads drawn to reserve of fabric and embroidered with silk color straw, decoration in the undulating vine shoot charged with clusters, foliage and small tendrils, between two friezes in small stylized motives. Low border decorated with a small motif in the needle. Dim. 36 cm x 10 cm (good condition)
