Rare Chantilly border with gold and silk metallic threads, Courseulles ? circa 1870-1890. Spindle lace with cut-out leaves and foliage worked in pink and light gray silk grid and cloth, the outline threads in gold thread, the motifs linked by two pale gray silk networks forming two horizontal bands, one with a light background, the other in Point de Paris, border cartouches in glass stitch. Dim. 1,35 m x 8 cm (small holes and spots at 35 cm and 70 cm, oxidation) To bring closer to the model illustrated p.36 "Dentelle Polychrome de Courseulles" Mr Jean-Claude Brulet.
