Borders Alençon and Point de Gaze, needlepoint, 2nd half of the 19th century. Two borders in Alençon, one with a very typical Napoleon III decoration with garlands of flowers and foliage, flower motifs punctuating the border, embroidered with festoon stitch and fine small fashions, ivory-colored cotton, horsehair in places on the border, Dim. 97 + 93 + 90 = 2,80 m x 8 cm (good general condition, some small stains or discreet foxing) and one from the beginning of the XIXth century in cream linen, Dim. 1,55 m x 13 cm (good condition, one small stain, discreet restorations) A border in the Point of Gauze to the flexible leaves and flowers, cartridges and medallions decorated with modes, cream cotton, Dim. 2,35 m x 8 cm (good condition)
