A handkerchief in bobbin lace, late 19th century. Handkerchief framed with fine Chantilly bobbin lace, with floral motifs worked in linen and connected by a network of light background, with multiple cartouches structuring the composition as well as the heart of the flowers adorned with the square spirit stitch, probable English work from the Buckinghamshire region. Fine cream colored cotton (good condition, a small recovery of the linen, pale traces of storage) We join a lace border very finely worked with bobbins with acorns decoration, English work from Devonshire. Dim. 50 + 50 cm = 1 m x 4,5 cm (good condition)
