Pair of beards and bonnet bottoms, Brussels, needle and spindles, circa 1760-70. A same charming decoration of delicate branches loaded with small leaves and flowers, motif reminiscent of the cornucopia in the center of the bottom of the cap and at the bottom of the beards, cartridges decorated with various points, the motifs very finely made with the needle and connected by the network drochel. Linen color ivory. Dim. beards : 52 x 10 cm at the widest (good condition, very fine resumptions to the drochel network, beards amputated from the top, bottom of the cap amputated on the sides and very small holes at the bottom) Cf.
