Rare headdress, spindles, Flanders, circa 1690- 1700. In lace finely worked with spindles, the pair of beards and the pass to the same model, the bottom of cap with slightly different decoration, the motifs in mirror to the bouquets, to the compositions of stylized flowers and to the flexible cartridges, connected by fine picotées bridles. Cream linen, laid on a garnet satin. Dim. laid flat : 70 x 30 cm at the widest (good condition, some bridles discreetly restored, border consolidated by a later picot edging) Cf.
