Centerpieces and doilies, collection of Marechal Berthier Prince of Wagram, 1st half of the 20th century. Two oval table centerpieces, in hand-woven linen embroidered in the center with a princely crown and a lace border in Point de Paris, one with a Potten Kant motif alternating with two swans on either side of a medallion and a garland of foliage embroidered around the edge of the linen, Dim. 84 x 64 cm (fine marks, a few stains), the other with double rows of days and motifs in mirror for the lace, Dim. 91 x 64 cm (good condition) Three rectangular doilies of which two embroidered in the center of a princely crown and garland of foliage around the linen, surrounding in Point de Paris with ducks for two (good condition) to which we join a doily surrounding with the same model of ducks and two doilies surrounding in Point de Paris, one with peacocks and the other with a flowery basket (small resumptions) Provenance: collections of Marechal Berthier Prince of Wagram, lot 115 Sotheby's sale of April 29, 2014.
