Two damask tablecloths, crowns, roses, shamrocks and thistles, 19th and early 20th century. An early 20th century linen damask tablecloth with repeated decoration along its length of supple intertwined branches of roses, thistles and clusters of small shamrocks, emblems of the United Kingdom, punctuated by large closed wreaths, with large navy anchors in a cluster of shamrocks, braided garland of oak leaves and acorns above. Dim. 2.35 x 2.25 m (good condition, pale stain and three very small, small flaws at selvage) A linen damask tablecloth with wide border of intertwined palms, contrasting vertical bands of foliage friezes and fine intertwined garlands of leaflets, number 10.JS.10 embroidered in red in one corner. Dim. 2,60 x 2,15 m (good condition, pale spots)
