Boards stamped with the arms of the baron de Breteuil at the four corners. Joints of the 3rd vol. fragile. 327 pp. - 357 pp. - 380 pp. With the arms and bookplate of Breteuil. Le Blanc (1707-1781), a clergyman and writer, was a lawyer at the Parliament of Paris before being appointed historiographer of the King's Buildings thanks to the intervention of Madame de Pompadour.
