Histoire de l'Académie des Inscriptions et des Belles-lettres Paris, impr. Royale, 1786. 2 vols. in-4, full red morocco, boards stamped with the royal arms, framed with a triple fillet. Ornate bands, interior roulette, gilt edges, spine decorated with fleur-de-lys caissons with crowned royal figure, title and tomes, the latter having received small irons with the sun and the fleur-de-lys. Bound with the royal arms containing volumes 42 (table, 536 pp.) and 43 (table, 752 pp.) of the History of the Academy of Inscriptions and Belles-lettres, namely its publications from 1786 to 1789.
