Pair of inkwells in chased and gilded bronze in the shape of a boat. Both equipped with oars, anchor, hook and shovel. On the deck, the ink cup representing a barrel is surmounted by a pitcher, for the other inkwell, the sand box represents an openwork barrel. The pair is decorated, in stern and bow, with openwork covers of sails for the lockers. The body of the boats decorated with frieze of rushes and a head of blower in figure of prow. They rest on trestles. Early 19th century. H. : 11 cm ; W. : 30 cm ; D. : 9.5 cm
