A new edition to which has been added the Journée des Parques, by the same author, and the Bijoutier philosophe, a comedy translated from English Maastricht, Dufour et Roux, 1779. In-12, red morocco, spine decorated, triple gilt fillet framing the boards with in the center in gilt letters : " Racine Demonville ", gilt edges. Nicolas Henry Racine du Thuit, du Jonquoy, baron de Monville (1734-1797), was the designer of the Désert de Retz. 4 plates engraved by J.B.P. TARDIEU. From the library of Henri Lavedan with his bookplate. One spine damaged.
