This fencing fight with sharp weapons on both sides of the blade between 2 opponents was strictly regulated and is still practiced today in the student environment. It is a confrontation to show one's bravery and to defend one's honor, sometimes resulting in serious injuries to the face. Practiced especially in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Blade made in the armory of Wapenmagazijn in Haarlem. Blade length of 81 cm.
